Seminar Libraries Archives and Museums in the digital realm

It has been great to have with us for the last three days prof. Wendy Duff, professor at the University of Toronto, where she teaches classes in records management, electronic records management and archival description. At TEC-CH, mrs. Duff has taught a seminar with the theme Libraries Archives and Museums in the digital realm.

ACM Student Research Competition

Hypertext 2008 will be participating in the ACM Student Research
Competition (http://www.acm.org/src/index.html) sponsored by
Microsoft Research. The SRC, which is held at select ACM
conferences, will provide an opportunity for graduate and
undergraduate students attending Hypertext 2008 to receive a $500
travel grant from Microsoft Research to present their research at
Hypertext 2008. All invited students will compete in a conference
competition for the best presentations, with the winners eligible for
a spot in the SRC Grand Finals. The SRC is a valuable opportunity
for students to participate in Hypertext 2008 and to receive
recognition from ACM for the quality of their research.
